The children&#8217;s portal is part of the Children&#8217;s Council in Denmark. B\u00f8rneportalen collaborates with a lot of organizations and counselling services working with and for children and young people in relation to different topics and issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Know your rights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Information about your rights as a child or young person (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boerneportalen.dk\/kend-dine-rettigheder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) \u2013 including rights in relation to bullying (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boerneportalen.dk\/kend-dine-rettigheder\/mobning-dine-rettigheder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) and online rights (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boerneportalen.dk\/kend-dine-rettigheder\/dit-liv-online-dine-rettigheder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>). Each page also shows where you can get help with link to other websites and NGO\u2019s, including the ones mentioned in this document.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Video on online rights and privacy (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=38Sg1e9SU8I&amp;t=1s&amp;ab_channel=B%25C3%25B8rneportalen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Complaint guide:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Guides for young people to file complaints about violation of their rights \u2013 for example in relation to bullying (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boerneportalen.dk\/vil-du-klage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3>B\u00f8rneTelefonen<\/h3>\n<p>B\u00f8rneTelefonen (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) is a counselling service for Danish children\/youth who are having issues and experiencing difficulties. B\u00f8rneTelefonen was established by the NGO, B\u00f8rns Vilk\u00e5r (\u201cChildren\u2019s Conditions\u201d), who continue to operate it. When a child or young person calls B\u00f8rneTelefonen, he\/she comes through to a volunteer adult counsellor who has a professional background from working with children and young people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The \u201cget help\u201d service:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here you can choose to get help or advice from either and adult or a fellow child\/young person. You can choose to contact them either via phone call, text messages, e-mail or chat. The call center is open 24\/7 (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/faa-hjaelp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open mailbox forum:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here you can anonymously ask any questions in an open forum. You can choose whether you want answers\/comments from fellow young people or from qualified adult counsellors (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/brevkasse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>). There is a filter system where you can choose specific categories including social media and bullying. A subpage called \u201cchildren-help-children\u201d focuses specifically on advice from children and youth to other children and youth (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/hvad-er-boern-hjaelper-boern\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMy problems is\u2026\u201d:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On this page children can choose between a range of different topics relevant to their problems. When clicking on a topic you are navigated to a new page with information, help, videos etc. concerned with problems related to this topic (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/mit-problem-er\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>). Included in the topics are bullying (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/mobning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) and social media (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/socialemedier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Videos:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A video from the \u201cbullying\u201d page is concerned with online bullying (<a href=\"https:\/\/bornetelefonen.dk\/video\/spoerg-boernetelefonen-jeg-bliver-mobbet-paa-sociale-medier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>). Here, B\u00f8rneTelefonen gives advice based on a problem shared in an open letter to the mailbox forum.<\/li>\n<li>A video from the \u201csocial media\u201d page is concerned with sharing of intimate videos without consent. You can also read about how to delete your profiles (<a href=\"https:\/\/sletdet.redbarnet.dk\/slettevejledninger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Filing a police report:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Information and guidance on reporting digital violations to the police (<a href=\"https:\/\/sletdet.redbarnet.dk\/politianmeldelse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>)<\/p>\n<h3>CyberHUS<\/h3>\n<p>CyberHUS (<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberhus.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) is a platform and free space where young people can ask questions and get support and advice from adult volunteer counsellors via chat and mailbox or share their thoughts with their peers in a Youth-to-Youth Q&amp;A forum. They have also written a short article on digital bullying (<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberhus.dk\/artikel\/hvad-er-digital-mobning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Text Message Counselling: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Young people can send text messages to CyberHUS\u2019 counsellors and discuss problems, ask question etc. Their phone number will be encrypted securing the young people anonymity (<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberhus.dk\/sms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open Mailbox:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The mailbox is for children and youth aged 9-23. Here they can anonymously ask questions in an open forum to CyberHUS\u2019 volunteer adult counsellors. The mailbox has a filter with different categories. Two category options relevant to the theme of cyberbullying are \u201cLife on the web\u201d and \u201cDigital Safety\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberhus.dk\/brevkasse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Youth-to-youth forum:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this forum you can ask open questions or share secrets anonymously and other young people can comment on it. This platform also has filter options with the categories, \u201cLife on the web\u201d and \u201cDigital Safety\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberhus.dk\/ung-til-ung\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Links to counselling for youth in different Danish municipalities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CyberHUS has a database where youth can see which counselling options there are for youth in their own municipality. CyberHUS has also invited all Danish municipalities to have each their chat and\/or mailbox within CyberHUS\u2019 web domain. Here youth from a specific municipality can get counselling from local municipality youth counsellors \u2013 that is, if the municipalities have set off human resources for this (<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberhus.dk\/ung-i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blogs about life on the web:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CyberHUS has a blog focusing on children and young people&#8217;s lives with social media (<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberhus.dk\/blogs\/netlivs-bloggen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>). They arrange open anonymous group chats focusing on different topics. One chatroom is managed by \u201cThe Digital Youth Panel\u201d and here young people can share their thought and opinions on things that are important to them online (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gruppechat.dk\/gruppe\/digital\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>). The Digital Youth Panel gathers views and feedbacks about digital usage from youth across Europe. An overview via this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gruppechat.dk\/alle-grupper\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a> to see which chatrooms are opened and closed.<\/p>\n<h3>GirlTalk<\/h3>\n<p>GirlTalk (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.girltalk.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) is an NGO that works to prevent dissatisfaction and unhappiness among girls and young women. They offer text message and chat counselling, physical communities (EmpowR and Sisterhood), open mailbox Q&amp;A, podcast, conversations with psychologists and informative pages about well-being, self-esteem and other thematic areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Text message and chat services:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GirlTalk has text message and chat services where young girls can write anonymously to a volunteer counsellor and the conversation will be confidential (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.girltalk.dk\/vores-tilbud\/chat-med-os\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>EmpowR and Sisterhood:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EmpowR (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.girltalk.dk\/vores-tilbud\/empowr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) and Sisterhood (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.girltalk.dk\/vores-tilbud\/sisterhood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>) are two physical communities\/fellowships for young girls. If you are a girl aged 13-16, GirlTalk, through EmpowR, gives you the opportunity to meet with a small group of girls once a week, where you listen and talk about what concerns you. Here you will discover that there is so much that is actually quite normal and that it helps to talk about it. Sisterhood is a similar offer but for those who are between 15 and 18 years old and who need a strong community alongside their education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The open mailbox, \u201cGirl Thoughts\u201d:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do you have any thoughts you need to get out of your head, so they take up less space? You can share them in Girl Talk\u2019s mailbox anonymously and\/or read about other girls\u2019 questions, feelings and experiences. The mailbox service has a filter system where you can find mails related to specific topics such as well-being and self-esteem. You can also use a search box to search for more specific topics (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.girltalk.dk\/pigetanker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>GirlTalks Podcast:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Weekly podcast where the hosts and guests talk about all the things that can be hard to talk about. Guests share personal experiences and knowledge in everything from bullying, mental health, body issues, sex and self-love.
